Hospital for Special Care (HSC) is one of the country’s largest long-term acute care hospitals and one of the best. Problem was, many people were unaware of the scope of services a specialty hospital like HSC provides.
Ingenuity creates awareness
We put the spotlight squarely on specialties many hospitals don’t even touch. We called out the fact that HSC set national standards for those specialties. Through an integrated campaign, including national public relations and advertising, a redesigned website and SEO, we reintroduced HSC and their breakthrough programs in ALS, brain and spinal cord rehab, and complex pediatric care, as well as their new autism center.
Positive results for the long term
Millions of media impressions, including The New York Times, The Huffington Post, The Wall Street Journal and international Associated Press coverage, translated into waiting lists for new services, as well as record-setting fundraising. The recently redesigned website has seen an increase of 137% in the amount of time people spend on the site, a 1041% increase in downloads, and a 6.8% donation conversion rate. To top it off, the Travelers Championship selected Hospital for Special Care as the lead charity for its ALS Center for Excellence.
