Partnering with CT Creators to Take on Distracted Driving

During Distracted Driving Awareness Month, Mason collaborated with trusted Connecticut creators to help the Connecticut Department of Transportation Highway Safety Office raise awareness about the dangers of distracted driving through authentic, community-driven storytelling.

Leveraging the newly launched Connecticut Content Creator Collaborative, a free online directory designed to help businesses connect with local creators who can elevate brands and reach targeted audiences, Mason partnered with creators including Connecticut Bucketlist, Mimi Gonzalez, Alexa Curtis, and Dommy the Travelista to develop engaging social-first content across Instagram Reels, TikToks, carousel posts, and street interviews. The campaign encouraged viewers to reflect on their own driving habits and the real consequences of distracted driving in a more personal and relatable way.

As part of a larger statewide public awareness effort, the creator-led initiative demonstrated the power of local voices to extend the reach and impact of important safety messaging.
