Mason Receives Five Mercury Awards and Two Telly Awards

The Telly Awards recognize excellence in television and video advertising work. We’re proud to say that Mason won two top awards for its work with Yale New Haven Health and Smilow Cancer Hospital “Why I Ride” survivors television campaign. This is no small feat – more than 30,000 entries are considered!

In late 2018, Mason received five Mercury Awards honoring its outstanding public relations programs. The awards ceremony took place at the New Britain Museum of American Art and honored the very best in public relations.  

In the tactical campaign categories, Mason was awarded two silver awards; one for the Connecticut Open tennis tournament for media relations and one for Healthy from Day One for media relations, as well as a bronze award for the design of the 2017 MIIA annual report. In the strategic campaign category, Mason received a silver award for the Healthy from Day One community relations and a bronze award for the Hospital for Special Care’s Spectrum of Kindness social media program.
