Our Connecticut-based advertising and PR agency is looking for an Account Director to manage relationships at multiple accounts in New Hampshire, as well as provide the day-to-day client and program planning and implementation. The position requires strong relationship skills with a focus on providing exceptional, personalized customer service to clients. The individual we seek is highly detail-oriented and is perceptive of client needs and how to address them. To be effective, the Account Director needs to have a keen understanding of how to plan and implement new and ongoing programs. This position presents an opportunity to immediately work on a variety of healthcare and municipal accounts as well as other potential account assignments.
Responsibilities
- Create account strategies, leading projects from conception to final execution
- Establish goals, objectives and strategies for client programs
- Meet deadlines and project budgets
- Work with internal teams to develop materials, coordinate events and provide support and direction
- Maintain relationships and serve as the primary point of contact and liaison for clients
- Present concepts and summarize creative and media program rationales to client
- Manage income and profitability on your accounts
- Help grow the New Hampshire client base
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years working at an advertising or in-house agency
- Strong writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and thrive under pressure
- A creative mindset and ability to think outside of the box
- Exceptional relationship and presentation skills
- Proven skills or experience in sales can be helpful
- Time-management, organization and leadership skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Strong work ethic and desire to collaborate
- High competency with computer and software skills (Microsoft Suite)
- Professional attitude within and outside office while conducting agency business
